Vegetarianism

It seems there are so many horrible things going on lately in relation to animals. These poor, voiceless souls. There are some horrible people out there! I look at my puppy and imagine what could have happened if she had these evil beings as her owner. But, no she's with me to stay! And on the positive side, she's alive, healthy, full of energy and life!

Time to make a stand: The smallest thing I can do towards animal cruelty (as of today) is to go vegetarian. Yes, me. This may come to a surprise to many as I love varieties of all food, but I cannot bear to watch animal cruelty go on. But, being vegetarian doesn't mean I can't indulge in tasty food; there are so many delicious vegetarian recipes, and I can still have the occasional dark chocolate and candy canes on Christmas Day! Therefore, my stand is to give up anything that is of an animal source, permanently. Wish me luck everyone, as I will keep you updated on how I go.

In saying this, I am not saying that everyone should go vegetarian, or there is something deadly about eating red meat (remember I'm just starting this today)! It's just something I have been thinking through for sometime and decided it's time to really do something. But, maybe some of you may like to join me in this little journey of mine!

Hi, I like your decision. I'm a vegetarian since my early childhood almost 30 years now. And I decided having the same reasons. Never thought about going back to eat meat.
